Privacy.
How Systems and People handles the little information this website collects.
Who we are
This website is run by LC Commerce Limited trading as Systems and People, a New Zealand company. We work with businesses in Australia and New Zealand, and we handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect, and why
When you book a call
Bookings are made through Cal.com, which collects the details you enter (such as your name, email address and any notes) and sends them to us so we can hold the call. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy. We use your details only to arrange and prepare for the call and to follow up with you about it.
When you run the Agent Readiness Check
We save the website address you check, cut down to its host name (for example, example.com.au), and the time of the check. We save nothing else: no IP address, no score, no browser details and no email address. To run the check, our server fetches that site's home page, robots.txt and llms.txt.
When you browse the site
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify you; it gives us totals such as the number of visits to each page.
When you play a video
Videos are hosted by Mux. Nothing loads from Mux until you press play. When you do, Mux receives the information any video service needs to stream to your device, such as your IP address and browser type. We have set the player not to use cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. The services above (Cal.com, Supabase for the saved readiness-check addresses, Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Mux for video) process information on our behalf. Some of them store it outside Australia and New Zealand.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. If you book a call, Cal.com's booking page may set its own.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details for as long as we are in touch about working together, and readiness-check addresses for as long as they are useful to us in understanding which kinds of sites use the check.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
